This year People-Centered Dance will be offering recreational classes for kids and adults! Classes will be held on Saturday mornings - see the calendar below for a schedule of classes.  

All recreational classes are Drop-In style so you can come to as many or as few classes as you like. We will be offering a variety of dance styles to see what our dancers really enjoy! 

Recreational classes will begin the week of November 4, 2024

Please note that the dance schedule will follow the Plymouth-Canton School district schedule. This means that when school is out, the studio will be closed. 

The cost is $20 per dancer per class. 

If you are a current PCDC competition dancer, you may take additional recreational classes for $10 per dancer per class. 

Payment will be expected at or before the time of the class. 

We currently accept cash, check (checks can be made out to People-Centered Dance Company or simply PCDC), PayPal using email: info@peoplecentereddance.com, or Venmo (@mlloyd12)

NEW DANCERS: 

Before your first class you will need to fill out a registration form and emergency contact form. After that is complete you will be all set to attend class! 

RETURNING DANCERS/COMP TEAM DANCERS: 

There will be sign up sheets and calendars at the studio so that you can let us know which recreational classes you will be attending.

If you forget to sign your dancer up, that is ok! You can still come to class and we can get you registration forms on site to make sure that we have all of your information!

Dancers may wear anything they are comfortable in and can move in! T-shirt and shorts or pants are acceptable, but try to avoid restrictive colthing as we are moving and stretching. 

Tennis shoes can be worn for most classes, but if your dancer is thinking of trying ballet, they should have a pair of ballet shoes for class. They are also welcome to wear a letotard and tights for ballet although it is not mandatory. 

We also recomend that dancers bring a water bottle to class. There is a water bottle filling station and drinking fountain on site as well.
